Churn rate

In SaaS, churn rate indicates the percentage of customers who cancel or don’t renew their subscription, whether it’s a free trial or a paid product. The average hovers around 5%, but you’ll want to keep churn rates as low as possible in order to grow MRR and ARR. This metric measures the total revenue generated by a client during the length of a business relationship. A low customer lifetime value usually co-occurs with high churn rates and low MRR.
