Role Overview
Are you a keen-eyed designer with a passion for crafting elegant, effective digital experiences? At SpotDev, a HubSpot Diamond Partner, we specialise in smart, conversion-focused websites and tools that marry exceptional design with robust technical execution.
As a Junior UI/UX Designer, you’ll join our Design and Development team—working closely with developers, strategists, and senior designers to shape standout interfaces and components, particularly within HubSpot Content Hub. You’ll contribute to real projects from day one, supported by experienced mentors, within a collaborative sprint-based environment that encourages learning and creativity.
This role is ideal for someone looking to develop both creatively and technically within a fully remote, UK-based team that values quality, curiosity, and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Design websites, landing pages, and digital assets using Figma
- Create wireframes, high-fidelity mock-ups, and interactive prototypes
- Support and enhance our internal design system and reusable UI components
- Collaborate with developers on custom HubSpot modules and React-based components
- Apply accessibility and responsive design best practices in line with WCAG 2.1 standards
- Participate in design reviews, daily stand-ups, and agile sprint planning
- Contribute to UX research, user testing, and design audits
- Assist with internal design work such as branding, event materials, and merchandise
Nice to Have Skills
While not essential, experience in the following areas would be beneficial:
- Familiarity with or interest in HubSpot Content Hub (formerly CMS Hub)
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
- Interest in conversion rate optimisation and performance-led design
- Curiosity about backend automation, CRM architecture, and how design integrates with broader digital systems

- You’ve contributed to client deliverables within your first month, producing designs that balance creativity with functionality
- You consistently apply accessibility and responsive design standards to deliver polished, inclusive user interfaces
- You collaborate effectively with developers, demonstrating an understanding of how design choices affect technical implementation
- You contribute ideas to improve design systems, processes, or tools, and support the team’s continuous improvement ethos
- You actively participate in design critiques and team sessions, offering thoughtful feedback and showing a proactive mindset
- You take advantage of mentorship and training opportunities to continuously develop your design skills
