Overview

Reporting to: Chief Executive

Employment: Fixed-Term Contract (Maternity Cover) – 9 to 12 months. Full-time or Part-time (SpotDev is open to this role being part-time for the right candidate)

Salary: £75,000 (pro rata)

 

The successful candidate will act as both the COO and EOS Integrator, partnering closely with the CEO (Visionary) to ensure seamless day-to-day operations, execute strategic initiatives, and hold the leadership team accountable for results. You will be instrumental in aligning people, processes, and priorities, and maintaining momentum across the business during this transitional period.

 


Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the agency, ensuring team productivity, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee resource planning, project delivery,
  • Oversee process improvement, and internal systems optimisation, supported by senior leadership.

EOS Integrator Duties

  • Act as the Integrator in the EOS model, ensuring all departments are aligned and accountable to the company’s vision and 90-day goals (Rocks).
  • Lead weekly L10 meetings, ensure Rocks are tracked and achieved.

People & Culture

  • Line manage senior leaders, providing coaching and support to help them achieve departmental KPIs and Rocks.
  • Reinforce company values and culture, ensuring strong team morale, performance, and engagement.
  • Support People & HR functions in recruitment, performance management, and team development.

Client and Commercial Focus

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high client satisfaction.
  • Identify process gaps or service delivery issues and implement solutions promptly.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience in a senior operations role within a digital agency or professional services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework, ideally with experience in the Integrator role.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver operational improvements.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g. ClickUp)
  • Experience leading remote/hybrid teams.
  • Background in software engineering, or technical services is advantageous.

  • Quarterly Rocks are completed on time.
  • Weekly L10 meetings are efficient, productive, and issue-resolving.
  • Operational processes are running smoothly with no major disruptions.
